“Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow”
FOCUS
When God does something big in our lives, it’s something to celebrate & commemorate / for which to rejoice & concerning which to remember. We talked about the commemorating & remembering last week (“Today’s Crisis of Faith Becomes Tomorrow’s Confession of Faith”). This week we’ll focus on & end this series with the celebrating & rejoicing especially as it pertains to the praise that elicits.
May our lives be filled in the days ahead with more & more praise than there’s ever been being lifted up & lavished upon God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
Praising God …
1. puts our focus on Him & the marvelously wonderful things He’s done.
The grateful recipient of divine favor grows in disciplined faith.
Exodus 15:1-2 / Luke 17:11-19
2. brings us into the proximity His presence & the provision of His power.
This truth is one of the many blessings that flow from God.
Psalm 22:3 Luke 9:43 Psalm 149:6 & 150
Making It Real
1] Do you see the simplicity & significance of this?
2] How aware have you been lately of God’s presence & power in your life?
Action Step
Read Psalms 145-150 starting tomorrow. Starting with 145, read one each morning & prayerfully ponder it. You’ll finish the coming Saturday. I am confident you will: a] be glad you did this & b] be doing better for having done so!
